dallas family & teen lakeside photography session at sunset

This was one of the most enjoyable family photo sessions I’ve had this summer.  🙂 Remember their sneak peek photo from last week?  Well, it took a while to get a family of 5 in the same space at once but we managed to pull it off one evening near White Rock Lake.  I had recently photographed the youngest (Trey) for his first communion …(see that pic at the tail end of this post) – and then we kept planning for a date to do a family shot and then have some fun with the 2 girls in the family.  That’s exactly what we did.  We knocked out a great family shot in about 5 minutes so that Dad could get back to his family restaurant quickly….OH and if you haven’t tried Kuby’s restaurant – DO IT…it’s over in Snider Plaza and they have amazing food!!!  Their spicy jalapeno sausage is my all time favorite!  (Oh and stay tuned for their upcoming appearance on Man Vs Food!)

OK food off the brain – now back to these gorgeous kids!  Since Trey  rocked his ‘modeling session’ with me already – we focused mainly on the two girls after we got a few of our ‘must have’ shots.  Sydney (the oldest child), Kaky (the middle child), Kaky’s best friend Sydney (aka – my photo assistant for the evening – see last shot of this post) and myself headed off to some areas around the lake on our own.  We shot until the sun went down and had a blast.  These girls are total naturals!  All of these kids are so great and I loved photographing them.  Their fun ages combined with their fabulous personalities and great looks made for a really fun evening!!  Thank you “K” family!!!!
