WOW how I love these kids!! These are the children of my best friend Shannon. I’ve known them both since birth. In fact little Emme went on a trip to NYC with Shannon and I when she was just 7 months in the womb. I rarely get a chance to have my camera in front of them so when this day came I really hoped that they would be in their ‘camera mood’. My goal was to get a few keepers of them together – mainly for a New Years Card – but more importantly for Shannon and her husband. I think we achieved it.
Now a bit about each of them…
JAKE – Seriously the sweetest boy you’ve ever met. Gives the best hugs (to just about everyone), still loves to cuddle on the couch, is super kind and inclusive and has the biggest heart ever.
EMME – full of spunk, laughter and joy! Curious as can be and so full of light. Quite a little lovebug herself (yet her hugs are a bit shorter than Jakes). A veracious reader (like her brother), loves pink and all things princesses.
Shannon & David – you did so well with these two. If I could scoop them up for myself I would! Thank you for letting me be a part of their lives and thank you for allowing them to be partial inspiration for this entire photography venture! Love you all!
I couldn’t not show these cute cards (especially since they’ve been mailed out by now). Love the resolutions (1. Love more; 2. Wii Less and of course #3 – Gratitude Not Attitude)
