Where do I start with Erika and this senior session? You might remember her from yesterday‘s photo of the week – gorgeous right? Well more than that – she’s super active, amazingly kind, ambitious, has a great heart & so so easy to work with!
I have to share a bit about Erika as she has experienced so much in her few years already. Her and her family moved from South America when she was in the 7th grade. I’m sure that stint there sparked her love for travel and of course lent a hand in her perfect Spanish! She’s a RUNNER too! She’s captain of the Track team and is currently doing cross country training in the evenings (How in the world do you do that in this heat???). Erika recently returned home from Mongolia after being their for 2wks. It was there that she worked on a medical team to help repair cleft lips with Operation Smile. I’m confident there isn’t much this girl can’t do!
So for Erika’s shoot, we started out sorting through all of her amazing wardrobe choices (I love that part of senior sessions), then the day of the shoot her entire family (mom, dad, older and younger brother) joined us for a quick family photo before I turned the focus to just her. We got that family shot down and then Erika got all the attention. 🙂 Here are some of my favorites of her – hope you all enjoy and ERIKA – I hope you enjoy too! Thank you so much for allowing me to work with you on your Senior photos – I had a blast with you!
PS – If I’m not mistaken most of her super cute outfits were from a local Dallas retailer – THE IMPECCABLE PIG – great stuff there!!
