sweet and simple newborn photography in dallas – meet lyla

I forget how enjoyable Newborn Sessions can be and this one certainly was.  Here is little Lyla at just 9 days old… what a perfect bundle of sweetness she was.  You might remember her mom, dad and pup Wrigley from this gorgeous maternity session.  I loved how she stretched her little arms and legs, made the cutest little sounds and allowed me to photograph her for as long as I did.  These are just a few from my time with her – but they are certainly ones that caught my eye the most.  Typically I’m not a fan of dressed up newborns for a shoot – I like it super simple – but when I saw this little bunny outfit that mom purchased on Etsy – I thought – of course we have to use that!  It 100% worked on Lyla and I’m thrilled we used it.  The crib shot I adore because her nursery is so warm, cozy and girly.  What I love even more about that crib shot is who was laying right at my feet while photographing Lyla…her Goldendoodle Wrigley.  This dog is THE BEST!  He was protecting little Lyla from the womb to now and I know they will be fast friends!  Lastly, I love the last photograph of just her in all white on her mom & dad’s bed.  Wrapped in window light she just snoozed away.  Thanks so much “J” family for allowing me to capture this moment in your life and in Lyla’s.  I can’t wait to watch her grow!
